Thoughts:

Hanasakure Seishounen is another shojo anime which girl would love to watch it. I haven’t watch any bishounen for a long time now. So I’ll give a try on this series, I hope I won’t get drawn into a heavy drama with too much crying and nagging.

This series already have 39 episode and is still on going so it’s good to follow Kajika’s adventure on finding her future husband while the episode is still few and can be easily catch up. you can watch the series here I hope that you’ll like it.

What is a ’skyscraper’?

Skyscraper was originally a nautical term referring to a small triangular sail set above the skysail on a sailing ship. The term was first applied to a building in late 19th century as the result of public amazement at the tall building being built in Chicago and New York.

Nowadays, A skyscraper is define as the tallest continuously habitable building. read more

Constructing a building which has a soft soil to start with is merely impossible to do, but in Burj Dubai, designed by Adrian Smith, they made it possible.

When I saw the figure I couldn’t tell a word to describe the building. I visit their website and check its design, It was remarkable. They provide all the details you need as to what and where it is, therefore I don’t need to discuss further the details. Moreover, here you can read an article discussing the cultural part of having such architectural symbolism.

Arashi’s Yellow Tears

Kiiroi Namida lit. Yellow Tears

Story:

It is about a story of 4 individuals who happen to spend their bittersweet summer together in a tiny apartment.

Eisuke Maraoka (Kazunari Nanimoya) along with his sister went to Tokyo to treat her ill mother with the help of his friends. Soon they found each other living in the same roof. Ryuzo (Sho Sakurai, novelist), Shoichi (Masaki Aiba, songwriter), Kei (Satoshi Ono, painter) became weak willed after failing their goals.

They stayed at Eisuke’s tiny apartment to think about their next step, however their dreams seems difficult to achieve, in addition their love-lives hinders their ambitions. Everyday their problem get worsen, soon Eisuke’s need to go to his dying mother. The three realizes that they becomes a burden in Eisuke’s side so they decided to leave and make a real living.

Later, they find a real job that makes their lives stable, not what they want it to be though.

About the movie, it’s sad but what they portray is reality. Sometimes what we dream of could not come true, however still make us live with high hopes to someday we could find our selves satisfied of what we achieve.

For the actors, Arashi group was like playing it for real situation. They act simple yet still gives us a pretty convincing face. It was as if they are just having fun. And compared to other films this was like a very long story yet how it ends was abrupt. It wasn’t leaving us hanging maybe because the film is very slow and didn’t notice that it was about to end and the funny thing is that the four of them never find their love or end up single,  except of course for Yuji (Jun Matsumoto, delivery boy) who happens to get married to  Tokie (Yu Kashii).

Reviews from other viewers:

From Panasia

Yellow Tears successfully transcends your usual idol films to become a bittersweet drama that can appeal to almost any age group. The casting of Arashi actually seems logical because the four actors need a certain amount of chemistry for the setup to work, and the group’s real-life friendship shows here. read more

From Kevin Ouellette

The atmosphere of this film, aided by good direction and nearly flawless cinematography (one would be hard-pressed to find a single questionable shot in the entire movie) takes center stage and is buoyed by quality acting and a catchy musical score. It’s important to note that this is a fairly sleepily-paced movie though. read more

From Sam

Sometimes all you want a simple story where you don’t have think about twists and turns throughout the movie, a story that looks into the lives of it’s characters and gives us a chance to reflect on our own. read more

I hope you enjoy the review. After reading this short points of views you might want to see Yellow Tears courtesy of mysoju.

The moral in the story – like mention in the film – is that ‘Life never deceives man and has never deceived man’. We just have to learn from our mistakes and get up when we fell down and keep striving to achieve our goals and its the only way to gain freedom from ourselves.

Heroes

•December 29, 2009 • Leave a Comment

It’s been a while since I watch this series and it’s the only series I like in US TV series. Well, I guess I prefer how they put heroes in a story, maybe typical but the twist is remarkable and convincing for its genre.

Heroes are now at its season 4 and every episode brings an extraordinary story which I crave for more. Maybe I’m late and could not supposed to watch this series but accidentally and fortunately I run into some streaming sites, which is actually prohibited. Anyway the series is becoming more serious action-packed yet still have sense of humor.

I still found Hiro as the best supporting cast in Heroes along with Ando. With them in the series, it become more lively and thrilling. furthermore, as Charlie comes back in the story, Hiro is now more into the action despite his well-being.

Sylar still is the most notorious villain I like him too. While Matt is becoming more psychotic after absorbing Sylar mind, I like him as well. I also want to see Rebel again and Molly.

New Villain, new story to unfold.

Laugh Away PV

Lyrics

Miagetara hikoukigumo ashita e to kieta
As I looked up, the streak of clouds (left behind in the trail of planes) disappeared to tomorrow
Boku wa soredemo zutto jitensha wo kogitsuzuketa
Even then, I continued to paddle on my bicycle

Noborisaka kake agaru ano sora no mukou
Yeah, climbing up the upslope, to the sky on the other side
Itsuka oikoseru you na sonna ki ga shiteiru kara
Because I felt I could overcome that some day

Haguresou na get away get away
As if losing my way, get away get away
Jounetsu wo get away get away
Don’t lose your passion/ ambition (Get away Get away)
Nogasanai you ni te wo nobashite
Stretch out your arms

Chippoke na koto ni nayanjatte
Worrying about the trivial things
Tonikaku kimi ni aitakunatta yeah
Suddenly I felt like seeing you

Umaretate no haru no nioi ni
The smell of fresh spring
Sakihokoru sakura no hanabira
The petals of the blossoming sakura
Itsudatte makenai you ni nee
I will never lose to it.

Sou waratte sotto waratte laugh away
Yes laugh, laugh away
Sou waratte itsumo waratte
Yes laugh, keep laughing

Oka no ue iki wo kirashi machi wo mioroshita
On top of the hill, I took a deep breath and looked down
Tabun kimi no uchi no yane kurai wa mieru hazu
I probably could only see the roof of your house

Mado no sotto umi ga sugu da yo nante hanashiteta
And you said the sea is just outside the windows
Dakara ano basho watari onaji ma kanjiteiru
At that place, I could feel the same presence

Afuresou na get away get away
The overflowing (Get away Get away)
Jounetsu wo get away get away
Don’t spill your (overflowing) passion (Get away Get away)
Kobosanai you ni te wo nobashite
Stretch out your arms

Chippoke na koto ni nayanjatte
Worrying about the trivial things
Tonikaku kimi ni aitakunatta yeah
Suddenly, I felt like seeing you

Me no mae ni hirogaru keshiki wo
The scenery right in front of my eyes
Wasuretewa ikenai ki ga shita
I felt I mustn’t forget it.
Itsudatte makenai you ni
I will never lose to it.

Never mind never mind ochikondara
When I feel depressed and down, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah koko ni kite kaze ni fukaretai
I want to come here, and be blown by the wind

Chiisa na egao ga mitai kara
I want to see your little smile
Boku datte tsuyoku nareru no sa yeah
I, too, can become stronger

Umaretate no haru no nioi ni
The smell of the fresh Spring
Sakihokoru sakura no hanabira
The petals of the blossoming sakura
Itsudatte makenai you ni nee
I will never lose to it

Sou waratte itsumo waratte
Yes, laugh. Keep laughing away.
